Correct answer: b) 120 km/h. The general limit for cars and motorcycles on motorways and dual carriageways is 120 km/h.
In a built-up area, what is the limit on a street with one lane in each direction?
Correct answer: b) 30 km/h. Since 2021: 30 km/h on urban streets with one lane per direction, 20 km/h on single-level streets and 50 km/h on streets with two or more lanes per direction.
What is the general alcohol limit in exhaled air?
Correct answer: b) 0.25 mg/l. The general limit is 0.25 mg/l in exhaled air (0.5 g/l in blood).
And for a new driver with less than two years' experience?
Correct answer: b) 0.15 mg/l. New and professional drivers have a limit of 0.15 mg/l in exhaled air (0.3 g/l in blood).
Since 1 January 2026, how must you signal a broken-down vehicle on the road?
Correct answer: b) With a connected V-16 beacon. The connected V-16 beacon has been mandatory since 2026 and replaces triangles. You place it without walking onto the road.

Correct answer: c) 6 points. Since 2022, holding a mobile phone while driving costs 6 points.
What is the speed limit for a car on a conventional road?
Correct answer: a) 90 km/h. Since 2019 the general limit for cars and motorcycles on conventional roads is 90 km/h.
How many points does a new driver start with?
Correct answer: a) 8 points. New drivers start with 8 points and go up to 12 if they lose none in two years.
